The all-black Melbourne Mobile, contrasts the primary colour palette inspired by the De Stijl movement of its cousin, the Galapagos Mobile. Mounted on hand-bent steel rods, the blades are made from a high-quality aluminium alloy. Like leaves, they twirl and float with the wind and the circulation of air. The steel base gives the mobile a great stability.
Volta Mobiles was founded in Paris in 2015 by the two brothers Otxo and Mario Conti. Right from the start, the specialisation was in the design and production of ingenious mobiles and stables - naturally strongly influenced by the creator of the very first mobiles, the artist Alexander Calder.
