The Chester Collection celebrates the classic model of Edwardian England, revisited by Renzo Frau in the first catalogue in 1912 and inspired by the sofas and armchairs that populated English clubs and country houses at that time. One of the icons of the Poltrona Frau brand ever since, Chester stands out for its pleated armrests, an appropriate finishing touch for the rich capitonné processing of the leather, carried out entirely by hand. This chaise features thick, round tufted arms and back and is upholstered in a beautiful onyx Italian leather. The Chester’s spring system is designed for optimal support and durability. Hand-positioned steel biconical springs are attached to jute belts on a supporting structure of seasoned beechwood. This ensures that the chaise lounge maintains its shape and provides a comfortable seating experience for years to come. For added luxury, the seat cushions are filled with goose down, creating a soft and cozy seating surface. The feet of the chaise lounge are spherical in beech with lacquered black finish.
