Designed to be wall hung but can be used as a floor rug, these tapestries have been woven from vintage wool over 60 years old, by Georgian women as part of their dowry preparations, they feature a horse motif distinctive to the Kakheti region. The delicate pink hues come from natural dyes derived from local materials - pomegranate peels, sumac berries, and madder roots - reflecting the region’s rich natural resources and dyeing traditions.
